underdrive pulley

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

pretty much the best investment for the price that you can pick them up for...

just remember that you will need to change the belt as well for obvious reasons, and finding one that fits can be a little bit of a biatch...

Belts are no problem at all, just go into Bursons or Repco and get the length and width you need, they usually have most of the sizes in stock in all the different widths. My only concern is the underdriving of the Alternator as I have 130W headlight globes and a couple of Amps with the sterio system! But when you think about it, cruising around your motor is not revving at full all the time so I guess it just means the voltage regulator will not have to work as hard when you are at full revs.

Just be warned these do not do what the factory one is designed for.
+ lighter
- do not help absorb harmonics made by the engine.

Use one at your own risk

There would be better area's to speand your money on, or other parts than this.

yes
i have the buschur racing one,
u can now get the fluidamper (spelling)

they go for about 350USD

the ones i listed have the dampening..
bushcur use rubber
fluidamper uses a fluid inside the pulley

JUST REMEMBER A CHEAP PART IS CHEAP FOR A REASON

and baz Im with you all the way on that purchase
A wise investment.

Yeah Liberoz is right, if there is no provision for dampening to replace the factory 'harmonic' balancer, vibration will eventually wear out the timing belt quicker and possibly even interfere with crank bearing wear as well. That is why it's called a 'harmonic' balancer.
