URGENT ADVISE NEEDED

my lancer is ready to drive
my problem is that its not registed
I want to drive it on the 17th dec melb cruise
is there any way i can get a permit so I can drive it
on the day as a club event or not???

I have driven it on the road with a trde plate a couple of times
and it drives real well, (better than any other car I have owned)
I know I cant drive it with a trade plate on a sunday

Take the risk and put fake plates on from your other car.

you cant drive it even if you got a 7 day permit from vic roads. as those permits only allow you to drive it to and from a workshop or testing station etc...

the only way you can legally drive it is to get it registered and get an RWC etc.. so yer..

unless ofcourse you do what is said in the above post but the fine is $500 and driving charges plus maybe some demerit points or impoundment if your on your P plates.

I just thought maybe I could get some type of permit that allows me to drive it as a club car or some thing

it's your call mate, but it's a risk...

you could put the plates off your other car on it as jamie said, but just be aware that you will not have any insurance... things happen on cruises, and surely you wouldn't want to damage your own and/or someone elses car and not be insured for the damages.
