If so, I need your locknut KEY

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE

need it by Yesterday if you get what I mean

thanks in advance

Drive to a mag wheels and tyre shop dude. They'll come out and try several lock nut keys on your wheels for you

Shit ... I had the same one ... Think i threw em out when I changed em... Will try to have a look for them, but may not happen till the weekend...

lock nut

Grab a selection of double hex 1/2 inch drive metric sockets (probably from 17 to 22mm) !8mm usually fits. Use a 6 inch extension on the socket find the socket that will almost fit over the outside of the lock nut and belt it over with a hammer. You will need to hit hard undo the nut with a breaker bar. This is less destructive then the chisel.

u could try take me off yaself, but u may risk damging ya wheel, there is a guy that can come out and take it off for u i think he is called the thread docter or something along those lines...give that a try wouldnt hurt for him 2 look at it for u
unfortunatley i lost his number but if u look in a yellow pages or some sort of a directory ur bound to find it
best of luck

what about those multi fit sockets?

they have like spring loaded pins in them.. the theory is that they fit any type of nut

i've forgotten what the proper name is for them so i can't find you a pic

How tight do you reckon they are Dan? Could you use a pin punch and bang it around? Or even get a pair of Vice grips on there? If you guys actally look at the style of lock nut you will see there aint gonna be any socket that will bash onto it and splitting it with a cold chisel is gonna be a hard task with out damaging the rim..

Is it possible to get the tyre shop due to come out if you paid $$$ to do so? Would be your best option, then you can buy the key, and not have to rebuy a new set. Plus if you try hammering it out and slip, there will be a nice scratch on your rim. You can always try drilling out the thread, just remember, $50 titanium drillbit is required otherwise the normal ones go blunt (I've done this before). Then you've gotta get it rethreaded. Having said that, if you've got to do it to four wheels, forget it, get the tyre man to come over with his lock nut keys.

lock nut

I use the socket method at work all the time as long as you use common sense you will be fine. Just be sure there is clearance between the socket and rim. This is the best way to remove that lock nut with out the tool.
