Hi Everyone,

I'm in urgent need of some help.

My Satria GTI front calipers need a rebuild kit (Proton tell me $115 PER SIDE and a 2 week wait from Malaysia) - I can't wait that long and they can get #$%$#^$ for that price.

So I went and purchased a CC GSR PBR rebuild kit, but the GSR caliper uses a bigger piston and the seals are too big for the GTI caliper it turns out.

Given that I've just forked out for new pads, 256mm slotted rotors and the like, I really need some help with where I can find a rebuild kit and or maybe even a set of GSR front calipers.

Yes of course I'm kicking myself that I didn't do the VR4 or EVO twin spot upgrade now .....

HELP ME PLEASE!

try someone like this
http://www.autoengineers.com/cbcs/indexa.html

find someone that has brake parts, like seals and rebuild kits. generally the guy that can put stainless liners in. he can measure your cylinders and find seals to suit. they might be magna parts or something entirely different that will suit.
take him the caliper and piston to measure. even if you have to reuse the dust seals for a while. no biggie.

my guy in perth is perth brake parts. he had the rear cylinders on the shelf for my jumbuck and they xreferance as some peugoet part???
the clutch cylinder seal was about $3.

Thanks Jack of all, I am off to see them today as they are not far from me.

I tried a few brake & clutch specialists but they all came back with around 1 week wait :(

Physically they may appear to be the same, but trust me the piston size and seals are different.

No brake or clutch specialists in QLD can help me at this time.

Getting the pistons o-ring seals are ok, but it's the all important dust covers that are the issue :(
