Hi all, heres my problem:
just picked up my car after getting new lifters put in my
GSR 1.8T. All good. Then the mechanic says "did you put the timing
belt on?". No. I had a mechanic do it, cost a *****-load.
(Not the place that did my new lifters)
"well it's on backwards".
My question is:
Standing facing the timing belt cover, (passenger side)
should the arrows on the timing belt be pointing clock-wise?
Mine are pointing anti-clockwise.
I need to know for sure before I go back and make
them do the work (plus new belt) for free. Lucky I keep receipts...
