Valve train weight savings

Quick FYI post about valve train weight savings on an aftermarket valve train.

The total weight of the stock valve train i.e. valves, springs, retainers and collets is 1884g

New valve train is Supertech beehive valve springs, +1mm SS intake valves, +1mm inconel exhaust valves, Ti retainers, OEM collets. Total weight 1679.

Weight savings equal 205g. On average that's 12.81g off each valve assembly. At 40rpm per gram, this equates to an increase in valve train RPM limit (disregarding the higher rate springs) of about 500rpm.
