Enteran - They have to be close to the most undeserving team to win a world cup ever. They didn't have a strong line up and they didn't play to their potential. What a joke.
Clutz - How can you compare rugby to soccer?

I love soccer and after the Socceroos got into the world cup and it got so much attention I was very dissapointed to see the way teams (Italy anyone?) carried on.
It really does ruin the sport...

ASSUMING Australia beat Italy in the penalty shootout (bullshit), Assuming Australia could beat Brazil after being OWNED while brazil was on an off day (bullshit), etc.

i think he was referring to the fact that italy has a history of losing penalty shootouts, and monday mornings effort was the first they have won in a long time. Plus Schwarzer has a reputation for being very good at stopping penalties.
Then again it probably wouldnt have come to penalties as there still was extra time to come and we were a man up.
but it didnt come to that and italy won the world cup. Good on them, they should enjoy it as its gonna be tough times for italian football when these scandals are finished.
