vibrations

my car vibrates when your cruising in 5th. i had replaced the rear uni 4months ago as it was seized. the centre bearing seems fine. the bushes for the centre bearing mounts look rooted. could they be the problem or is it something to do with my gearbox?

if they look rooted replace them anyway, couldnt hurt

yea thats what i was thinking, gonna try repco or mitsubishi tomorrow.

discovered my propeller shaft boot kit seals are looking rather shagged so before the bearing goes I've ordered new ones from Mits.. none is Aus.. 3 weeks Japan.

I have no vibrations... Chris said I would have vibrations if the bearing was gone.

Check the bolts holding the tailshaft to the rear diff are nice and tight.. mine have come loose once and you wouldnt notice it untill say 80- 90kph +..

i replaced my centre bearing mounting bushes and found my tail shaft has lost a weight, but i dont get why it only does it in 5th. what bearing is it that wears out?
