My first run of the day was my new PB of 13.54@104 mph, somehow I knew that my gearbox issues would hold me back from a lower E.T, overall I'm happy with the outcome, hey, at least my clucth didnt shit itself and my car didnt start pissing out oil!
After a re-tune and a new g/box, 12's should be beckoning sometime soon.
btw, did anyone get any vids of my runs?

i think my ears are still ringing from the valiant and that blue vx ute :lol:

Well, I'm over being pissed of...... Paul (from Precision Clutches) in Bendigo was great. I am shitty at the way the previous owner set the clutch up (basically the reason why the clutch failed), but all in all, it was good to see Dre, Gavin and Jon hitting the strip. I
'll be picking my car up saturday, new clutch, same as Jons..... All I need is new front end bearings and ill be happnin again.....and a bigger cooler.....hahahaha
Don't worry about not riding with me Eugene....its all good. It worked out for the better. When I sorted that my clutch had shat itself, I was kind of irrate, so its probably best that you wearn't there....hahahaha...cheers to everyone for the help today. Other than my clutch, I had a good day.....

Glad you all had fun guys. I'm new to this forum and I'm very sorry I couldn't make it to meet all of you and to have a drag as my car (mitsubishi cordia with VR4 conversion) was not ready.
Jon: Very bad luck about your car mate.
I'll be back on the road soon and I look forward to meeting you all on the next cruise.

I forgot to mention....
When I was chatting Paul (the fella sorting out my new clutch), he was looking after 3 young fellas... 1 of then 14, 1 of them 10 and the other 8 years of age..... I don't know if you guys saw the speedway circuit at the end of the strip, but, these young guys were flogging the beejesus out of these little Dattos round this speedway oval.... Honestly, and i'm sorry guys, but its was the most entertaining racing ive seen in ages......
The 14 year old was fully pitching his little Datto sideways into the turns and was running his car on its door handles, untill he had radiator issues, which he diagnosed himself later in the pits I might add. But, this 14 year old bloke left the track, leaving the other 2, and while they were waiting for the other dude to hit pits (with his radiator issue) they were on the track doing donuts to pass the time.........HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!
I could not believe my eyes....
It was fantastic....anyways, it put a huge smile on my face seeing these kids out in the pits cleaning the mud out from under there guards preping up for there next run.....

but man was a screwed at the end..
i got up a 4:50 that morning.. went to work.. didn't nap since..
now im finishing my assignment which is due in today..
as for video's.. i've got heaps
dre, i've got one 2 of you.. one with the evo4,5 or whatever that was (URMAMA) and one with the red gsr...
you struggled to go into 2nd.. u killed both off 1st though..
as for john's.. i dont know if i have any of yours..
i've got chaverz also (cant remember which one)
i managed to beat the 300zx on all runs i think.. (funny bugger.. he's 300zx was stock except for cat back exhaust, those things are underrated.. he also had subbies in the boot)
i managed to run a best of 14.17 @ 101mph..
high mph i ran was 105.4mph..
either it would bog (launching at 3500)
or slip (launching at 4500)
best take off i had was a 2.2 60ft which was at 4000 rpm..
but all i can say is AWD launch's are soooo much better..
but i give credit to those rwd racers / fwd racers on street tyres..
simon in the SSS pulsar on the trailer, poor guy.. first run he broke the gearbox mount and was stuck in 2nd (massive axle tramp)
i guess the pulsar gearbox's aren't made to withstand 200kw's and 25psi boost..
i wasted 150 bux on somebody else's car.. but i guess it was for the experience...
dre, your car looks the very nice.. sounds pretty wicked also!!
jonny.. fix the oil leaks man!!! thats the second time i've seen oil leaking everywhere!! but still impressive time for a non launch, backing off run... you'll be in the 12s for sure when its all good..
gavin.. ecu time??
chriss... i left my sausages there.. haha.. i just ate the other dudes food.. they were nice enough to let us eat it.. did u manage to get the bbq ready?

but overall.. for a team 4g even.. its a shame the vr4's didn't run all that much.. when my cars done we'll have another.. but at calder instead.. heathcote is toooooo far..

I got up and 7am, couldn't possibly get up at 4.50 like you Baz, takes a strong man to do that..
Quickly washed my car before I left....
Meet up with Lawrence (Entaran)
Meet up with everyone else....
Pulled out of Hungry Jacks.....
Evolutionary got me to pull over so he could tell that I had some smoke coming out from under my car......thought it was an exhaust leak
10mins later, clutch went.....
After that, 50 or 60 odd kms of changing gear going by revs......
I can tell you guys this much..... 1st gear - 10km/h about 3200rpms, slides in... 2nd gear - 20-25km/h 3000 on the nose, 3rd....cant remember third, 4th 60-70km/h 3000-3500 and 5th was 80-90, same revs as 4th....
Limped it to my mum and dads place in Bendigo,
Dropped it at Precision clutches at 6.15pm....
6.50pm sitting on a coach waitting to leave to get back to melbourne...
9.40pm, walk through the door of my place in Malvern....
That was my day....hahahahahahahahahahhaha
But serious for sec... Rev changing in VR4s isn't that hard...you have to expect to crunch a couple of changes...got me out of a tight spot
I'll stop my clutch winging now....

My car is crap. POS wouldnt bloody boost past 15psi when the day before it was hitting 20. I need a 2g AFM or bite the bullet and get an ECU. But every time i race it does go faster. Previous best 13.9, now 13.8. big WOW a 0.1 of a second. so if i race it 20 more time i should be in the 11's at my current rate. :x
gavin.. it shows how much potential you have though..
the older school tdo5/6 series stuff is performing great compared to the bb stuff.. no wonder the us dudes stand by their 20g / red's and greens..
get the ecu of dre im telling ya!!.. datalog and tune off that one.. and get the chip off aza (free).. it'll run much better!!
and 2g afm!! from a magna i think.. aza will know, he's doing it..
as for files.. its on that page..
