[VIC] - Heathcote Park Raceway - Drag Day

Date: Sunday 17th April
Meet Time: 9am
Meet Location: Hungry Jacks Carpark just off western ring road.. Corner Western Ring Road and Hume Highway.. opposite the Kmart
Arrival in Heathcote: ~11am
BBQ: Midday - we can bring our own bbq setup

Drag racing from 11am til 3pm with as many runs as you like. Last time i was there i got like 20 runs in 1hr.. haha i just couldnt stop

Anyways the last one we had about 1.5 years ago was good! Good to get out and watch some VR-4's own the track. Doesn't matter if your car is wild or stock bring it along will be a great day!

I will be taking my whole toolbox with over 300 tols etc.. So if your car has a "mishap" it can be repaired on the spot, if not got some tow rope can tow it back to melbourne

Anyways I picked the above date because its awhile away and gives everyone sufficent notice.

Lets show the rest of Australia where the fastest VR-4's are

I don't know how many times this thread has been posted, unposted and reposted.... After all the hype of this event, I'm hoping for an awesome turnout. I'm moving mountains to get my car done for Heathcote so everyone else should too......

Unfortunately (as much as I'd like to be in my vr4 for my 20th birthday), the vr4 has finally given in.

Front shocks are GONE. 2 weeks wait to get them replaced. Exhaust manifold has developed three severe cracks (new one on the way from SBR in the USA) and I've still got compliance work to finish off.

Add tires to all this and yeah... the vr4 isn't going to heathcote.

I'll be in the other one. The gsr

Now to decide if I should bring my GF.

Ive got a set of stock rims you can use, they'll have some mint tyres on them

What Dre said... I got struts, Dres got tyres......and if you are really desparate, you can have my pld manifold, its cracked but you can still run it ok if you launch nicely, otherwise, Dilz is scammin the tyres......

There's other issues clutz... like my gearbox.

I've got tires coming out my butt, roadworthy, legal ones etc.

The car's cracks are so severe it consistently fuel cuts at around 4-4500 rpm under boost.
