[VIC] Meeting for drinks and dinner

Hey All,

I figured that it might be a good idea for us all to meet up somewhere central for a couple of drinks and some food.

I was thinking we could meet at La Porchetta on Victoria St, opposite the Queen Victoria Market on Monday the 14th of August. We could arrive from 6:30pm and get drinks and food as we please.

What does everyone think?

I also work monday nights, but if we do have a get together, lets make it somewhere with decent food!!!

I know a spot on lygon street east brunswick, that has the best thai food in town, and its B.Y.O. You'll be waddling out of there for $10-15.

Sunday night would probably be better for everyone :wink:

About time someone organised a dinner, we havent had one for ages!!

Yeah, personally, I would prefer to goto lygon st...

Location should be in that general, central, vicinity...whether it is thai food, greek or italian, it doesn't really matter. We will work out an exact location later.

When: Sunday, 20th of August, 6pm onwards
Where: Meet @ Argyle Square, Lygon St, Carlton
Bring: Car, BYO Wine, Groupies

I hope a fair amount of people can make it, I was thinking that we meet up at 6, then go somewhere to eat for a while.

We can also plan the next cruise, which I hope we can all agree should not go back and forth as much as the last cruise!
