i have an autronic plug - in, they are fine, but a few things mainly due to the stock loom are a little limiting/annoying.

Yep I use one.. Awesome ECU,

The software is easy to use and very versatile, heaps of features (all the features of Motec/autronic), easy to install, was great to tune etc

If your just going with a plug in just get a Link G4 plugin, It should do everything a plug in vipec will do and will save you some coin. Link designed vipec's ecus (and now own vipec iirc) so even the tuning software is very similar so anyone who likes to tune vipec will like to tune link.

as above,

i actually run a Link G3 Plus, upgraded to a link G4 (same hardware) which is the same a ViPec V88.

The *only* difference between a ViPec and the equivalent Link, is the ViPec has a Mixture Map in the tuning software.

I've had the plugin in my car for a few years, since they first came out. It was because my tuner uses them, they moved on from Autronic.
I'd recommend one. Only change needed is the wiring for Map sensor. Runs the car well.

As stated, a late model Link will also do a great job and cheaper. Mine was pricey, considering I don't use much of its features.

If I change my injectors, a retune will be needed so I'll use that as an excuse to upgrade the firmware which is better now then when it came out.

Ended up getting the V88 for the same price as the plug in so am going with that. Will see how it goes but my tuner is very impressed...
