I have a couple of questions about swapping the viscious diff in my E1 to a factory lsd from an E2 or E3.
1. do the centres swap easily? Or do you need to swap the housing as well?
2. can you use the same driveshafts?
3. are the E1-2 ratios the same as the E3? ie so you have to be careful to buy the right one.
4. is it just easier and cheaper to buy an aftermarket centre? Or do you still need to swap the driveshafts?
5. are the mechanical diff rear driveshafts rare? Or is that just the front ones?
6. how much benefit would it be to the car (given that its done about 100k kms and may be worn anyway)?
Thanks!
