Hi,

I am currently in the process of finalsing the conversion on my 1995 CC GSR.

I’ve removed the 4G93 and have replaced it with the 4G63 (EVO 2).

I also require the following parts:

1. VR4 or RVR passenger side half shaft hanger bracket;
2. Pin/fork & boot for clutch slave cylinder (The one on my GSR was lost whilst being towed)

Please state your selling price in your response/PM.

I need these parts fairly urgently.(Preferably within Melbourne)

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean slave cylinder rod? and boot?

You can get new boots with slave rebuild kits- should be only $20 or so from bursons. New rods are kinda hard to find though. I got a second hander from Meek.

Ive got an RVR passenger side hangar bracket I brought it in from NZ because 4G63T passenger side shafts are pretty hard and expensive to come by when you need one.
Im asking $50 for the hangar bracket otherwise I wont let it go due to above. Maybe someone wants to sell you a complete shaft just as cheap. Meek sells them for over $300 each new: http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=338
If you want just the bracket you'll need a new $10 bearing pressed in when you remove the hanger bracket off the GSR shaft and replace it with the hanger bracket off the RVR.

What doesnt make sense is how you and I share the same parents but you drew the short stick from the gene pool
One is EVO and one is RVR. The RVR and VR4 brackets face the opposite direction to EVO.
Its all to do with the X-brace for the aircon and how it bolts to the block. They can bolt either way because the blocks have 3 mounting holes.

Well there u go, u should have said that lol, i thought u will need the propper hanger bracket for which ever X-brace u use

Evo with Evo, and RVR with RVR, i didnt know they had 3 holes so u can mount either ones on

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

A wreckers in Melbourne has an RVR – intermediate shaft (shaft hanger bracket), but for its for an auto vehicle.

Silly question, but will this suit my purpose or does it have to be for a vehicle with a manual transmission?

Pin/fork & boot for clutch slave cylinder (The one on my GSR was lost whilst being towed)

As for the clutch slave cylinder, I bought a complete aftermarket unit, a couple of years ago from a brake and clutch place for my ute ... it was about $25 I think ...part no is TJB 4260 but doesnt include the pin

And the clutch release fork, if thats what you mean you can get a new one from extreme psi approx US$160 to your door

compared to meek $276 and Mitsubishi near that price.

they also have the Pin
