I have put a GSS342 walbro internal pump but I cant even hear it?

every other car I have heard with this pump you cant miss that sound,

car is a bit hard to start aswell, but the battery is running a bit low to (between 13.2-13.8volts )

did anyone have a prob like this?

should I just buy another one?

Thanks
Travis

maybe you installed it properly and as long as there isnt any fueling problems I'd say install was faultless :D

When I installed mine last Xmas, I was perfectly quiet. Had to pull the access cover off in the boot to be able to hear it. During an event on Saturday, I was actually able to hear it from inside the car for the very first time so I'm going to pull it out and check to make sure it hasn't moved or that the foam between the pump and the bracket hasn't dislodged.

Years ago they never used to come with the foam sleeve around them which dampens vibration and sound, but most of the ones you get now off EBay etc come with it. If it's working properly and it's quiet that's a bonus!! 8)

I installed mine with 3 layers instead of just the one, Hope thats just it then

my fuel pressure is right up there ( the sard fpr is tuned on 400kpa and goes to 600kpa with just a slight rev)

I didnt flow test though

Thats 58-88 pound of pressure.
Stock is 30 something yeah?
38?

Isnt your pressure too high?

he sard fpr is tuned on 400kpa and goes to 600kpa with just a slight rev

is that at idle with vac? or no vac?

seems quite high trav...

should be 36.3psi at zero psi.
and at idle with stock cams should be around 27psi... with VAC

my bad :D reading the guage wrong

0.4 x 100 kpa but the stock reg was on 0.1kpa with vac

but it wont boost any lower than this

I do have large injectors aswell would it make a difference
