walbro pump kit

Just recently bought a walbro pump from UDDOG06 for my GALANT VR4, just wondering if it's suppose to come with the plug with wire that goes to the pump otherwise will end up using spade connectors or can you get them somewhere.

same here, but then I got one with a longer loom from an fto which made it even better

when i removed the fuel pump, the wires that goes to the stock pump are joined with nuts.

what sort of car do you have mate? is the pump your removing stock?

It's a galant vr4 88 jspec, just want to replace the stock pump but the kit didn't come with the plug that goes to the pump.

Sounds like you have an aftermarket pump or someone's played with it previously.

Can you take a pic of the pump hanger and these connections that you have described then post it here?

Yeh ive just recently put my walbro in, mine came with another plug which i didnt use, the stock vr4 plug should fit straight into the walbro, i followed vfaq

i had to re wire when i changed my stock pump... but came with its own plug....

Im confused as to why the plug doesnt go straight into the walbro when mine did, i can sell you my spare wire with plug no problems.

don't really know why, i will take it off today and take some photos. Does the plug have eyelets at the end of each wire, one goes to the body and one goes to the top plate?

how much do you want for the plug anyway including postage to 5162?

Found a universal plug at the auto electrician today so everything should be ok.

I got exactly what was in the thread from uddog06 which was GSS342 with the 400-847 installation kit, its just the stock fuel pump maybe too old that's why it didn't have a plug compared to the newer vr4s. mine is 88 jspec. Anyways all good now, got some universal plug from one of the sparky's here and i changed the fuel filter as well. Just have to get it dynoed now and see how much power it has.
