Wanted: assorted bolts and screws

hey guys,

i need some bolts and screws for my galant, what i need is:
2 bolts that hold the glovebox on under the dash
all the screws and bolts for the centre console

Just an idea

Got to the galant manual .pdf and find out the length and pitch etc
then buy em @ a bolt shop.

Just go to the pick a part wreckers and get shit loads in your tool box then leave stating they aint got what you looking for, they wont miss a few bolts and screws, most ppl just chuck em on the floor of cars or on the ground anyway. prolly only cost you $1 entry!

Let me guess you lost the take-away container that has them in it!

not quite, i had to drill most of them out because previous owner had rounded the heads on them, the local wreckers here don't have any galants hence why say if someone has wrecked one and still has all the bolts then it would be easier

I am pretty sure that they are M5 x 10mm or so.

I've got every bolt you can possibly think of.

I don't however have them sorted out.

Would take me hours to find them all :/

why tim, if someone breaks into my car the last thing they are gonna do is take the glovebox out, the would be more interested in the mid-bass drivers in the front or the crossover box etc, all thats in my glovebox is a refidex and steering lock

I used allen-head bolts because they don't strip when you try to unscrew them...

i would go with pick apart and look for a TR TP Magna closes thing to a galant, im sure theres a sheit load of them around and dead, screws would be exatly the same.........

yeh i think thats what i will have to do, and use some left overs from other parts of the car

I might drop over there tomorrow to try and unbolt a bumper bracket!

where abouts is abc wreckers, see if you can get me a throttle body elbow thats bigger than standard, only if you can get it in your toolbox tho, what galants are they
