I just received my HSG front bar about 15mins ago straight from Japan to my front door. $539.00 AUD it set me back. I'm not gonna be fitting it anytime soon as i'm also goin to respray it and fit an aftermarket sunroof as well. I was wondering if ppl would be interested in me getting it moulded so i can get them made to sell. I dunno what it's worth the cost/effort. But i'm sure there's several SSG owners (and even Nimbus or HSG's for replacement/upgrade purposes) Who knows...if these came readily available to UF Nimbus owners who wanted to style up their rides up a lil. They could find these frontbars much easier if they needed to. (just a thought)

yeah i don't have the front lip either. So having one would be sweet! I'm still yet to look into getting this organised if i was to go ahead with it. Need to find myself a guy that'll do fibreglass moulds for me too!

That's the thing tho. What's a worthwhile price.... i dunno cos i haven't had anything costed yet myself. However i do know the procedure will damage my factory frontbar and will most likely be a throw away. So in due respect, i'd like to also factor in part of the cost of $539.00 which i lose if i go ahead with this. Some would probably think that im mad to even think of destroying such a hard to find factory bumper. Meh...in turn i could be worth it. Only problem is that if it were done. Who's gonna make the bodykits then for other customers in future?? that's another issue that'll need addressing. And then ppl need to be informed about too.. so it needs to be put on the internet (not just on this forum but perhaps an actually bodykit manufacturers website perhaps)
Does anybody out there know anything about reproducing bodykits first hand? If so, have you got any pointers etc?

yup thats different, thats just the stock front bar, the lip goes over the top of the bottom section. It's VERY rare.
I can organise to make moulds of the lip here in tas and then sell them off, but i probably wont make moulds as i dont want to risk damaging it

Being made as i speak now to pricing, how much are you guys willing to pay..my mexicans dont work as cheap as they do in mexico. Im not in it to make money other than him to make my special replacement lip as payment for getting him this work.
