Water pump alternative options?

Hey

I hate the idea of the water pump/ power steer/ Alt all running off the alternator belt/crank, after a head cracking scare (Belt flip off alternator) the car got a little hot after about 200m of driving, does anyone know of good alternatives for the water pump to continuously run safely, i hate the thought of all three things being disabled it one belt fails..
