Went to the drags tonight.

So I went to the drags at Willowbank tonight.
2nd time ever in my life that I have raced at a track.

The VR4 behaved itself nicely this time
1st run was 12.877 @ 109.84 with a 1.922 60ft
2nd run was 12.758 @ 110.54 with a 1.893 60ft

On the first run I logged it using my Ipod touch and a little App for it called Dynolicious.

To give you an idea as to how accurate the Ipod was here is the comparison of the 2 on the same run.
1st run was 12.877 @ 109.84 with a 1.922 60ft
Ipod times 12.89 @ 110.40 with a 2.1 60ft
That is damned close in my book!

I've never dynoed the car but the Ipod had it listed at around 245kw atw
It would be pretty interesting to see how accurate it is when I finally get to a dyno.

Not bad at all mate, Getting your 60's down will easily net you a 12.5 I reckon. Glad to hear it all went smoothly. I would love to have the oppurtunity to have a run in Adelaide.

Good time, the 60ft is not too bad. 1.8 is considered normal, anything quicker is very impressive!

Those Teins sure made a good difference to your launch Tim. I still have bettered a 2.0 second 60' time yet . Sorry I couldn't join you guys, I had been sandblasting the underside of my rally car all day, had black grit in just about every orifice possible and couldn't be bothered trying to tow my vr4 from the back yard out to the front to clutch start the ******* AGAIN.

How long have you had your dry cell battery for now Tim?

It doesn't squat much at all now does it Rob
I've had my battery since March last year mate. I've left the car up to 3-4 weeks without starting it and it seems to start fine even with the alarm.
