What Adv or Retard

I have just fitted a pair of alloy adj cam pulleys after finding the stock ones cracked through the spokes.What sort of adv and/or retard are you guys running.They are yet to be dialled in yet(i def wont be doing that) or is this one better left to the experts? Also I have noticed a lot of pics where the timing belt cover is not fitted.Are you guys running without it or is it just for the pics?

Mine are 0/0, loctite the bolts with loctite blue.

Only touch them if it's being dyno tuned really.

I have a timing belt cover on.

as awesome as it looks to not have a timing belt cover, it is illegal and pending cops knowing their shit they won't like it much...so on the good side you can get clear ones from zaklee corp http://www.zakleecorp.com/evo13.htm i'll be in the market for one of these soonish might be worth a group buy might save a little money on the postage. :thumbsup:

I think it looks better with the cover on, much neater, I don't get the fascination with exposed cam wheels...

Clear covers from Zaklee are great. You get the bling of aftermarket cam wheels showing through and you can see the condition of the timing belt and catch problems sooner if they occur. ie whether any water or oil is being lost from the water/oil pump and dripping onto the timing belt.
