What are they worth?

Hey all, list of items I am looking for, but have no idea what they're worth...can you help? All for CA Lancer 2 door (tonka) - havebeen looking for months now, but can't find find at wreckers and no idea what they're worth...
I got some prices on new items from Mitsu dealers - such as front bar/rear bar, looking at more than the cars worth!

• headrests to fit SX rear seats. Think they are the same as GSR items. Don't know what they're worth - ideas?
• Clear front indicator lenses Right and Left, can be late model CB items, but some of you guys rides look great with I think J spec items?
• Clear wing/guard indicator lenses Right and Left (do they exist?)
• GSR front bar complete OR Late model CB Lancer Front bar (the deep plastic one) either way....complete and in good condition
• 2 door rear bar complete and in good condition - no longer available new I'm told.
• GSR wheels good condition
• Lowering Kit? want to drop it a little - what do I look for, is it a DIY job?
• S/hand after market steering wheel and boss kit - needs to have a deeper dish than std wheel with reach fully extended - I need a deeper dish for my long frame!

Anyways - thoughts welcome!

mate have you tried pick a part in campberfield? I went there last week and they had afew CB lancers; not sure if they're the same as CA?

Fairly sure he wants to spruce up his base model hatch with some GSR items.


You need to get hold of mrcyborg cos he's wrecking a CB GSR hatch at the moment

Springs alone, put in yourself..from $300 (kings)-$700 (Eibach)
Shocks, 4 of em, bout $700-1k for good ones..

If you dont want to go too low, and have a bit of a budget, id def reccomend either kyb excel or the AGX if you want a little better shock, and King Springs arent bad, throw more money at it and you can go H&R or Eibach springs........

Its easy to put it all in yourself

Thanks Alex - I hadn't tried to gothat far afield - CB's are pretty much the same as CA's as far as I can tell - but it' a good point, what actually are the differences? It's the 2 door bits i've really struggled to find at wreckers around SE Melb - i'm in the chaddy area.

Thanks Alex - I think from b pillar forward CB 2 door is same as CA 2 door? (good point though - what actually are the differences....) Cambelfield bit further than had thought of going!

Great suggestion CluTZ, thanks - how would I make contact with them? Didn't see it in the T4g Forums? Where's he located?
Overall - I guess not really aiming to do a GSR clone, just make Tonka look a little nicer to my eyes - hence why thinking CB front bar (last of line plastic item) for the front...can do some easy mods to that to make it look different and get the deeper front end look. Alsothinking this would be cheaper than the GSR bar - The std SX alloys are just boring and scuffed up etc... just new to this model etc and no idea about pricing - I have a big sign on my forehead that says - see me coming and take me for a ride Thats why your thoughts on what things are worth is really valuable (pardon the pun)!

Ok got a few prices for you:
- Head rests, I've been quoted $350 for whole set of rear seat. They guy didn't want to seperate sell.
- Clear corner lamp, $35 each (cheapest I found but they got non in stock)
- Guard flasher, $25 each (its amber tho, can't find clear one)
- Rear bumper, $180 (bumper exchange) non genuine new is still available on CA sedan model.
- GSR wheels, couldn't find one
- Lowering Kit, you can get Pedders lowered springs for less than $300 for all 4, that is if they made for CA. Otherwise you looking at $300+ for King.
- Steering wheel, seems like you found a few already ...
