I was wondering what countries the Hypergear was sold in? I am running out of time with my car and the parts needed, so I thought I could look in whatever countries it actually sold in and maybe buy the parts from Mitsubishi?

Anyone know which countries the Hypergear was released in?

Cheers
-Pete

The first RVR, introduced February 1991, is acompact MPV, manufactured between 1991 and 2002. It was known as the Mitsubishi Space Runner in Europe and Mitsubishi Expo LRV in theUnited States, while export markets in Asia andOceania used the Japanese market name. The RVR was also sold by Chrysler as the Dodge/Plymouth Colt Wagon and Eagle Summit Wagoncaptive imports in North America.[1] Its "tall wagon" appearance reflected a popular appearance which found favor with many international manufacturers, which can trace their beginnings to the 1978 concept car Lancia Megagamma.

Oh, the megamama...

Closest place to us is nz. there are heaps on here:
https://touch.trademe.co.nz/search?search_string=rvr%20mitsubishi

Hard to register as i don't have a nz phone number, and you need to register to contact a seller. but im sure someone here will help out

Im on there without having an NZ number....? Maybe things have changed.
If you find something on there let me know...might be able to help you out.

I thought that the RVR Hyper Sports Gear was only sold in Japan.
And the ones you find everywhere else is individually imported.

The RVR model is indeed sold under different name in the different continents.
Space Runner in Europe
Expo LRV, Colt Wagon and Eagle Summit in the USA
And RVR in Japan.

So if it was only sold in Japan, then I can't get the parts from mitsubishi anywhere else then. Bummer.

The missing airflow meter has turned up though! Now I just need to find the intake pipe.

I'm cruising all the NZ places at the moment... and yeah, trademe no longer needs an NZ phone number to register.

Mate, I am desperate, if I can order the parts through you and pay for your trouble, I'm all over it.

Why cant you make the intake pipe and put a pod on it. Surely cheaper than new ex europe...
And no response from trademe? Some of the guys on here must have contacts with a wrecker over there that will ship parts.

Im with jack...would be easy to make one. Just use some plastic downpipe or similar in the correct diameter...or silicone pipes with metal sections of intercooler pipe or similar...or cut up one of the neighbours trampolines and use the pipes from that
It doesnt see a great deal of heat being the intake.

What about this guy...? Have you even bothered to look on trademe?? Theres heaps.

Thanks guys, yes I've been scouring trademe and have already contacted the ones listed here, no luck so far. They all have the oval type, not the round type, except for two of them that are missing the intake pipe. Ditto for the QLD one, it is the oval one. It has to be the HSG part, not the standard RVR one.

I can't easily make a part as I'm 4 hours away from the car and have nothing to go off, can't use a pod as I have to get the car Blue-Slipped.

If someone has the part they could loan me so I had a 'template' to work off, I'd be happy to pay them well for the trouble.

If anyone has a photo of the pipe as well, it would really help with getting one, often the wreckers have no idea what they are looking for and a photo would really help heaps.
