Thought i might as well make a 'what do you do' thread.

I'm a tafe student studing elec engineering.

ATM, I'm doing work experience at an electronic place where we make the dials/dash/speed for VZ holdens and the new VE coming out, so yes i can say i've seen it :) (or are ve's already out?, lol). They also make keys for holdens, volvo, and lots of toyota stuff too like the gizmo which calls for help and gives your location :)

As for getting money, I dont get much at all unfortunately though. I make switchboard labels at home. I've attached a pic below :). Anyways thats all, ciaooo.

 
I DJ 4 nights a week, and also work @ Myer 5 days a week.......

have just finished a zoology degree, and hopefully will be doing honours next year if all goes well....... if not, who knows :p

very busy atm, especially seeing i still have NO BLOODY LICENCE!!! its a killer I tell ya! soon ill be back --- two weeks, 5 days, and counting.
 
sheetmetal worker. also studying mech engineering at tafe. part time photographer and part time metal fabricator ( heat shields, brake kits, radiators and inlet manifolds soon)
plus a dad :D
 
I'm a finance analyst with a bank and make my clients' wildest financial fantasies come true for 5 days of the week.

I tend to dj every now and then......usually once every 6 months at various places when ppl can afford to pay my normal charge out rates :p
 
bum most of the time, also run my dads contruction business (only small) while he recovers from an illness and i work part time for http://gotfrag.com an online professional gaming media organisation, but most of my time is spent researching and putting together a business plan for a nightclub.

i work in electrical retail selling mainly high end home etertainment equiptment, plasma/lcd tv's etc, & i did install them as well but i got the shits with it & closed my little side business down.

in january im going into the RAAF as an communications electronics technition for 6 years, should be fun :shock:

enjoy RF communications :D

lol, its pretty complicated. Too many tuned circuits, Q factor, Resonance, Mixers, Local Oscillators, oh the crap goes on. Im thinking about finding work in communcations, but im not too sure if im going to like it :S

means less ppl will do it, = skill shortage = more money for me :twisted:

i really couldnt find much technical info on the position, so i hope i enjoy it, the general description etc really appeals to me, its the kinda work i want to get into.

I should scan a circuit of an AM and FM reciever circuit that we got from our teacher.. its like WTF... :)
 
Let's just say... i work for the government :twisted:

HF comms rocks - always good when you pick up on some singaporian and butt in with comments like "shut ur shit hole china boy!!"
And then he says "F%$( U AUSSIE" heaps over the air lol

just finished my bachelor, yahoo!!

so now I'm looking for work
maybe open a business with the family soon..

we'll see
