Found this (sensor?) at the front of my car but can't for the life of me work out what it is. A first I thought it might be external air temp, but then the much smaller black cylindrical sensor that was bolted next to it looked more like that. This seems like a ceramic block and was mounted to the central beam coming up from the front of the crossmember. Anyone got any ideas? Some have said that it's the outside temp sensor, but if it is then what is the other sensor looking thing that is wired separately next to it (not pictured, but about a black cylinder mounted vertically, about 1.5" in length)?

The black one or this thing pictured? Don't need the a/c fan resistor but wouldn't mind keeping the external temp sensor, even if it means mounting it somewhere else.

It houses the engine's delithium crystals. The crystals by themselves are in an inert state, much like Neutrinos. However, once your engine produces horsepower it immediately shoots gamma rays into the crystals which in turn converts the neutrinos to a useable form of energy called electroplasma!. This electroplasma powers the AC fan resistor. God man... dont you know anything?

Depends where you buy it from Dave. The Chinese knock-offs are spelt that slight bit different to confuse the consumer ;)

it depends when you come from?

if you are chinese they change the spelling that slight bit different to confuse the reader

definition :
Amature<-- chinese knock off A word used by those of a lesser intelligence to berate those of higher intelligence. Example: "That would be so amature". What it really means is "You're better than I am, I suck at life. Please God, put me out of my misery."

Common Misspelling of the word Amateur <-- that would be the non chinese knock off

but I bet you had to google phalanges ????
