Can anyone give any insight in to what this "OMRON made in japan" box was doing fitted in the rear of the Evo. It is defiantly a factory item. Details and picture below:

Type G8D-280M-B12
No. 054750
OMRON Made in Japan

It has a switch on the side in which you can select "SET I" "FIX" or "SET II"

Is plugged in to the boot loom and also has a coaxial cable.

Having a copy of CAPS aka ASA loaded on your PC will answer most technical whats this oem part ect. ;)

I tried so many times to get that ASA to work I just gave up
 
sorry to hi jack the thread, but does anyone know if this can be fitted to a gsr? and what would be involved in doing so?
