What Muffler?

4GTuner

Yes I believe so. Out of the box you need to hold the button on the keypad until the valve is fully open/closed.

You could probably get fancy and wire in a stepped switch/dial that only provides current to the motor on the muffler for enough time to open it fully/partially/close it fully.

I'm planning to getting around to wiring the switch up to the intercooler spray button I have on the centre console and just have it fully opened/closed, but atm have other things to focus on.

I just remembered the place I got mine from: MOTORWORX. It's not very far from where George (DOUGMO) works.

Guys, don't forget that a muffler that can be controlled by a switch IS also ILLEGAL if the cops look at it and realise what it is.

This goes for the Xforce mufflers.

Yes, but the majority of mufflers of the straight through varity are over the DB limit anyway.

I think(for me at least) the noise supression is not about getting away with it when the cops are around, its so that when I go for a drive in the empty hills I can open it up, and when I am driving to and from work I can have some quiet.

I wonder what the fine / charge is for having a muffler that is 'switched' is VS having one that exceeds the noise DB limit.
