What temp does the thermo fans kick in?

probably already been covered but what temperature will the thermo fans kick in on a gsr? they arent on when i first start the car or when its at its normal temp (half on the temp gauge). My car isnt overheating it just sits on half without the fans on is this normal?

yes that is normal....but they should come on if you leave it idling for a while. prior to doing a test idle....CHECK ALL FUSES AND RELAYS ARE INSTALLED AND CONNECTIONS ARE OF GOOD APPEARANCE FROM A CORROSION ASPECT. have a slow running hose handy just in case it is needed

At this time of year they will take a while but should be on with the gauge a bit above half way....if it gets to 3/4 and they aren't on......get a hose and spray water over the radiator core while the engine is still running to cool it down. continue to use the hose till below half again.
