You will need to get a Keyspan USB to serial adaptor.

hey guys, is there a way i can wire in my wideband using the factory wires from the narrowband on my dump pipe? i wanna start logging everything else is wired in.
How many wires is your stock o2 sensor?
You could easily cut the loom and tap your wide band into it BUT in saying that, the stock sensor usually uses 1 or 2 wires. Widebands use 3 or 4.
I'd rather get a new boss welded after the sump and run the innovate loom to it. They are a bulky unit and need to be mounted quite close to the sensor.
That way you still have your stock o2 sensor / wires and the wideband in your exhaust.
Can the wideband be interfaced with the ECU at all?
Or is it simply a gauge for you to monitor yourself?

You can connect it up to the narrow band (standard input wire ) but you will have to simulate the narrow band signal.
In the (ecu config log) there is a NB02 sim section. You will have to log the raw voltage from the wideband to see what is the value at 14.7-1 afr. Then set that voltage in the wb switch point.
This is only a quick bit of info. From you will have to go the dsmlink forum wiki & search all the correct & best proceedures to get it all to work.

i already have a bung tapped in just before the cat. the secondary o2 sensor (factory option was actually put into the three inch exhaust then removed and plugged.
i can just remove the plug and screw in wideband. for the ecm link to work more easily i need to track down an input for the ecu for the wideband to work .
i thought it would be easier to simply remove the stock o2 sensor plugg in the wideband and use the wiring for the stock o2 sensor. (2 wires white and blue) then use the narrowband sim.
Back to the main question that i worded rather poorly I wish to use the factory wire's to send the signal to the ecu. this way i can get proper afr's on my ecmlink software to display on my laptop while i data log. I believe this would be the easiest way to do things. howevery i wish to know which wire is the signal wire to the ecu.
