Help Support 4GTuner:

LOL ok...what do you believe?

Ill wait and see what happens after old mate on evo oz gets with his tune....

im looking at the same mod on a 2.3l wouldbe better to get the forced performance model or rebuild mine or get a tdo6 complete unit aiming for 230-240 wanna retain factory looking for legal reasons

68HTA = Kick ASS

Go to Adam @ MAPerformance, he'll price match FP & - $120 shipping. FP deals with UPS ONLY, hence the cost.

thats a friken huge snout.. no way is that a factory unmodified comp cover! its got to be a custom factory style casting! cos u cant machine the factory comp cover that much and have that much meat left!

If you're going to pay $$$ to buy it, what's another $95 to do the porting? It'll be done, you won't have to think about what it would have been like if you HAD of ported it and you won't ever have to take the turbo off and re-install it later if you ever decide that it's something you want to do.

i'll have a look tonight when im diging out my recipts for at what my td05-20g cost from the USA a few years ago.

also i should have a new dyno sheet for later next week (if the car doesnt blowup)

though i dont think the td05 housing will get it as high as 240kws flow wise.

mine hit over 270 with the standard front and rear housings. mind you the front one is machined so much that the walls of the snout are only about 1mm thick

from memory andrew marc had that turbo modded again once it was here, i think he got a different housing or something, i remeber talk of a sl2 housing or something?

A full dual ball bearing turbo for full responsiveness will be my choice. A GT28RS or GT3071R hands down for that sort of power :)

Which model GT28RS are you referring to there? There are lots available?

Would a factory EVO II dump pipe suffice with this turbo or would I see a great benefit by moving to a EVO III dump pipe?

an evo 3 dump is better but your in the land of ces and brijis- either one of them is worth talking to for a proper dump/front pipe

Nice boost control!!!

Hrmmm, Xspeed tune, WA's best tuner!!!

Gizzmo IBC - hardly touched.

Tune??? No tune there. Plain old Tomei ECU straight from Japan.

E3 dump would be best
No need to port.. (imo)

Here is my quote in USD

FP 68 hta: 849.00
FP Exhaust manifold: 275.00
FP Coupler: 35.00
FP Intake pipe :79.00

Shipping: 175.00

Total:1413.00

Why the ex mani? No need for it imo. Save the $$.

Played with my Gizzmo IBC in closed loop - holds 25psi pretty much to redline. Small dip but with some more fine tuning it will hold solid.

Big difference in top end pull.. She's angry now..
