hey everyone im looking at buying a set of semi slicks but im unsure what ones to use.they will be used for a drag racing purpose so ill need the softest compound possible

iv looked at MT's but i dont think i can get them under the car with out moderfying the guards witch i dont wanna do

can anybody help me out with info?

if its for drag racing get some propper ones for drag

circuit slicks or semis are not too good for drag racing-to firm in the sidewall

Frankie, what size street tyres are you running??

I somewhat doubt that you can't find tyres that will fit in the stock arches, they have a couple of resonable sizes, 205/50r14 or r15, 215/60r16. None of them will fit??

Bit of an understatement, they are ******, compound too hard, sidewalls too stiff, by the time you get any decent heat into them you have finished the race and are going thru the turn around at the other end of the track.

Yeah forget about semi's, especially for racing. They need to be HOTTTT before they start working! Whats wrong with a decent set of street tyres? 1.7 60ft is pretty sweet?
