4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

dont remember

I think it was a LJ torana,

my first mitsubishi was a 1980 Sigma, cut springs, scorp wheels, 5% tint, painted in black, 2.5 inch exhaust, and a shitty auto but it only cost me $375 all finished with reg :D

i ended up giving it to a mate and he drove it for about 5 years till the cops took it off the road.....lol

so I got him another one for $200 and it was a SE model with 120.000kms on the clock and he still drives it today

first car i actually had on road was a '90 Pintara TRX, 2.4 4cyl with LSD, went damn well! i loved it but the thing spent as much time the mechanics as it did on road, what a money drainer!

My first ever car was a 1979 hondamatic back in 1994. Ive had dozens of cars since then, mostly shitty thrash boxes.

In 1997 I bought a BFMR '88 4WD DOHC Turbo 323 Familia hatch. I sold that for an '87 4WD sedan version of the same car, which got stolen 3 weeks after I bought it.

thats when I was introduced to Mitsubishi's 8) had a few in my time, including:

'92 Libero X [LOBERO] 4G93 SOHC
'94 Libero GT 4G93T
'94 Lancer GSR 4G93T
'88 Mirage CYBORG sedan [UQ321] 4G61T
'90 Mirage CYBORG sedan 4G61T
'89 Galant VR-4 [OVR4U]/[DIESTI] 4G63T
'94 Lancer GSR 4G93T

current cars:

'88 Mirage CYBORG sedan [DIESTI]
'89 Galant GSR 4G63T
'91 Galant VR-4 4G63T, track project

Notice the trends here??

as mentioned in a few posts above, my first car was a 79 sigma.. when i was selling it the guy that bought it said he wanted it for parts... but instead i ended up finding some rally pics on the net a couple of years later..
P9279807.jpg

it was the same colour when i had it , but looks to be resprayed or polished or something.. and it had a massive dent near the fuel cap which he fixed up... and he also kept the rego plates.. i remember my dad hating them because he said it reminded him of KILL and thought id crash it..
i kind of got sad because i never took a pic of my first car... was relieved when i found these hehe

Haha... wish my escort went to a rally home like your sigma.. instead they sold the webers and blew up second (sierra cosworth turbo gearbox too  ) doing burnouts.. now the guys mum drives it.
