whats a good vacuum cleaner

The mrs just bought a bagless electrolux,was fairly expensive (a tad over $600 i think) but has self cleaning filters and a motorised head, works really well...its amazing how much crap is in your carpet when you think it is clean after using a cheapo vacuum,then go over it with something that does actually lift the dirt :shock:

2nd that. we have friends that borrow our vac every so often, just to clean they're carpet properly
