What's the max boost can u run on a rvr 4g63

I'm running 19psi and I WANa know how much more I can go with out to much mods
What do you use to control the boost and what ecu are you using.
I've been running 1.5bar for last two years and that's with 16g-20g turbo.
 
I think 19psi is my wastegate stock boost I removed my boost controler nd still stock ecu but been tuned
 
i think your car has issues sick rvr, your stock wastegate should not be holding 19psi. If your motor is stock i would be adjusting your wastegate to have it go off at 14psi, 14 is what i would run through a stockish rvr, anymore than that and i would expect a few mods to safeguard it. I ran 18/19psi through mine but has extensive mods.

If its spiking to 24psi then im suprised you havent killed it
 
The guy I got it of said the engine is a tomei build if that means anything??? I'm still a newbe to the 4g63 I used to be in to my rotarys and owned a few
 
I know my car ain't stock I remember when I first got the car my very first drive my and my partner shit our self on that power was unexpected ..2 gear @ 26psi 80% throttle yeah pretty scary that's y I ripped out the turbo smart boost controller ... No van pulls like that if stock but I really WANa kno what's in it

Had it on a dyno? How are the afr's etc? Power?

I havnt dyno it but ever since I took the boost controller out it starts to jerk around but my mechanic said it could be my clutch slipping I'm not sure... I will get it dyno nd I'll post a vid up and let you guys see if the car is running how it should...and power wise the guy I got it off said 301kw

I'm not sure I just WANa kno what it's got and if they guy I got it of wasnt liein about that tomei nd 300kws shit like that I just spent 4k getting the body fix and I picked up the car for 3.5k on 90.000kms know it's on about 150.000 but ther was rust on the roof but it's getting fixed

Lol just messing with you dude, the 10% that I understood tells me that you were 'told' it had 300kw..is that at the engine, or awkw as there is a big difference.
Get it on the dyno ASAP champ.

A tomei build could mean anything, but for what you paid, I'd assume it wasn't a full bottom end etc.

Also is your wastegate external? Do you know what size turbo?

If you could get a proper list of all mods done, we could probably help you out a little better, cause at the moment, I think I can speak for most and say we're all a little confused.

Sounds like your rvr could either be a total weapon waiting to be unleashed, or ticking timebomb waiting to detonate lol....hopefully it's the former ;)
 
Uhhh it's a internal wastegate tdo5-20g ... Sorry about all the qwestions I'm still new to this 4g63 ima ex rotary person....but still how dose my van pull harder then my 1982 s2 rx7 12a turbo with shit loads of mods!! 4g63 f#¥ken amazing
 
get your camera out dude, take some pics of this car, and engine bay ;) then email or msg the old owner and ask for a specific parts list that the car is meant to have ;) THEN we can try and help
 
It doesn't take a whole lot to get these going dude, 4g63's are probably the best 2 liter jap motor ever. Very responsive to mods and very strong if taken care of, and that goes for the rvr's version, esp the hsg.
A well modded hsg would have no trouble against a well modded 12a ;)
