but it isn't a ralliart evo x... look at it this way, they have taken a stocko lancer and beefed it up to somewhere between stock and EVO X, it isn't an EVO it is just a plain old lancer that has been tuned and given the Ralliart badge

what they are trying to do is put something on the road at a similar price to the WRX so they can boost sales in that category. whilst still having the EVO to go against the top of line STI.
its a sales pitch which is going to make them alot more money at the end of the day.
how many people would like an evo but can't afford it so they go and get a WRX which is cheaper?, this is mitsubishis answer to it.
