so the new ralliart is the new gsr but in hatch form it looks wild id almost buy the hatch instead of the evo10 sedan bein a detuned 2litre a quick trip to ure local performance joint an u have a hatch evo 10 hmmm intesting

ure lookin at it wrong instead of releasing a GSR to battle the wrx they are releasing a "ralliart lancer" its all marketing ppl know ralliart is a big name so assume it must be good and enters market at wrx price an leaves the evo at the top of the stabe to destroy the sti...

but it isn't a ralliart evo x... look at it this way, they have taken a stocko lancer and beefed it up to somewhere between stock and EVO X, it isn't an EVO it is just a plain old lancer that has been tuned and given the Ralliart badge

its like the WRX and STI, the STI is better than WRX (but still shit). its the same with the new lancers the ralliart lancer is like the WRX, and the evo like the STI.
what they are trying to do is put something on the road at a similar price to the WRX so they can boost sales in that category. whilst still having the EVO to go against the top of line STI.
its a sales pitch which is going to make them alot more money at the end of the day.
how many people would like an evo but can't afford it so they go and get a WRX which is cheaper?, this is mitsubishis answer to it.

thats true.. some poeple wont opt out for the price tag on evo 10... so they buy WRX coz its cheaper... heck i did it.. lol
so i think its good they are doing it... aslong as it retains the AWD and not go FWD...
and they hopefully release it here...
then again we will get the magna version no doubt.. hahahaha

if it looks as phat and as nice as that pic with a Mitsubishi badge on it then it's A1 in my books :twisted: Its a great move bringing something into the market to compete with the WRX price range and when people are faced with that ^^^^ or a Daewoo WRX I'd anticipate the Mitsu to sell more cars. It's for the people who want an EVO X but cant afford an EVO X and thats a good thing :wink:
