Hey, anyone know the exact specs for the factory original rear wheel studs for the HSG-R? The brainiacs at the brake/alignment shop cross-threaded one of my lugnuts and it twisted the stud right off when I was removing the wheel later (to paint the calipers). I think it's M12-1.5x45mm; can anyone confirm or correct? I should be able to find it locally if I can give them the specs.

Also, what is the recommended torque setting for the lugnuts? These guys must have been torquing at something like 200 ft-lb to get that nut on, and I am now done with letting shop drones torque the wheel nuts (last time, they torqued them so tight that the unlock key stripped one out the next time).

I normally do wheel nuts up to 95nm all round.
The thread will be 12x1.5 and the 45mm will be the length of the stud

Right on, Dougmo - found it today, already installed.

One more confirmation: 45mm is the overall length of the bolt, right (not just the measurement of the threaded portion)? I ask because apparently the parts shop sold me the wrong length (about 63-64mm overall) in spite of the fact that I wrote it down for them, and I had to cut the bolt down to the length of the other studs before installing, but when I measured the threaded portion of the bolt before cutting, it was exactly 45mm. Anyway, unimportant now that everything's back in place, but I wanted to be sure before I cursed the ignorance and incompetence of yet another supplier or shop here (an all-too-regular pastime). Thanks again for the info/confirmation.
