Where to Buy: Ferodo DS2500

Hey guys,

after a place that supplies these pads, does anyone recomend any special place that doesnt charge the earth?

from what i've been told locally, the DS2500's are only available for the front and need to be custom ordered?

does that sound right?

for the rears looks like my best choice is EBC Black stuff at $110 for the rears.

if the DS2500's become too much of a headache i will just get some EBC Greens for the front.

I've also heard good things about lucas pads, when properly bedded. I have no idea where to get them from though, repco, supercheap, sprint and motor traders here do not carry them.

lucas are very good pads

i used to use them in my sa22c rx7,
worked great with slotted rotors.

they are not track pads though

which the DS2500's are, just a basic entry level track pad.

i had a guy in the local brake shop recomend the Lucas TRW pads, but when reading the specs they dont add upto a EBC Green or DS2500.

i will be doing alot of track days and motorkanna's once the borgs back on the road so im not worried about chewing disc's (too much) or having to heat the pads before hand.

We have DS3000 in the front and DS2500 in the rear, and they are fantastic. they are avaible from autosport www.autosportdirect.com.au you can get their telephone number from the website, and they will be able to freight to you.. tell them lewis sent you..

yeh Kristian is great, he drives a commodore tho .. that said its a AWESOME commodore, VT SS, about 300kw atw, cage, massive brakes etc
