where to get a spare Evo 1 key made?

hey guys i recently went to my local key smith, i tired to get a spare key cut for my Evo, they told me they didn't have a key to cut to match. Where can a guy get a key to match?

I think you can order blanks through the dealership, but I'd like to know where to get a spare made as well.

If you just want a blank ask for a Mirage or Dodge Colt blank and see if any of them match up.

If you want the IR transmitter too then it's $135 from the dealer.

your cars are older and dont need the key with the chip

you can go to a key cut place and have it cut straight away

Im going to get geniune keys though, because it will have the black section up the top with mitsubishi written on it, it will look alot nicer than the orignal keys aswell

I just looked at my evo2 key and the key code is stamped on the key also which makes it easy to get a spare cut

Home Depot here in the states. Simple & easy. I've never needed to go to a locksmith or anything.
