guys, i'm after opinions on where to mount my gauges, looking at putting 4 2" gauges in somewhere, and i would like them all in a similar area, without ditching my ac vents...2nd din panel is out as well because of stereo

hurm.... i think we have talked about this before in a different thred.... but any ways..... WRX gauge holder for the top centre of the consol can be slighty modded to fit VR4 dash

WRX dash's have a rounded surface, we have a flat one. so you would have to just shave the bottom of the gauge pod to fit it on a VR4 dash, just to flattin it off .... also depends which WRX the gauge pod is made for?

I doubt you could fit 4 gauges into the GSR pod, they would have to be really dman small gauges.
Anyone actually fitted the WRX one?
wouldnt really be too hard to DIY, just take a mould of the base, make a few lil rings to sit gauges into, wrap, reasin and paint it.

I might do one soon if i get a couple more gauges, only got one now so it hardly seems worth it

Not really a big fan of the WRX style holder... Would kind of look weird to see a WRX part in a lancer tho ...

i saw a good idea today on mounting gauges, boost gauge in the centre of the steering wheel, it looked pretty sweet aswell, was on an old chrysler

I need to come up with similar stuff for the CC .. I want to fit 3 60mm gauges on the dash somewhere ...
