Which ECU to choose?

Hey guys,

I need to purchase an ECU for the AMG galant.

I want something that I can plugin OR make an adaptor loom to suit.

My thoughts are:

AUTRONIC
MOTEC
HALTECH

I believe Haltech are the only ones that have a plugin for the galants. I'm not sure on the price though, also never used one myself so I'm not sure how well they perform.

I dont have any hesitation with the other 2 brands but if I can save some cash on the haltech and if it can do everything I need, I'll give it a go.

All I need are:
Boost control (is it open loop of closed loop?)
Knock control
Temp compensation (std in all ecu's now I believe)
Datalogging of some sort
Gauge output to a DASHDAQ


Any feedback from past Haltech users appreciated!

motec or autronic only baz imo...you could surely make a patch loom for either of them to plug in?
