on the moneyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

or if u can get a GSR box NRWE! (rare and lsd!)

Ive pulled 117mph down the 1/4 in a GSR box with easily more revs.
When i went 117mph in the evo it was pretty much boucning off redline over the line.

Both were 4 gear runs!

ur going to need to run around 127mph + and i dont think a straight TD06-20G will do it..
id be leaning more to a TD06H LS2 turbine wheel mated with say a Garrett 60-1 front..
if u dont mind an aftermarket manifold and external gate id b sticking a GT35R .82AR on it.. should be easily capable of 10s.

but yer GSR 3.5 gearing is what you will want in your car.

thnx, jon

i'll think about it:cool:

Often thought about it.... what about the Auto diff ratio ( 3.36 I think) to crank up the mph with a strong torque monster motor.... ( matched with the transfer and rear diff obviously)

evo3. final gear can take you to 200mph. check Jack's Transmission website for more details.

Sorry for dragging this thread up from a few months ago. Its kinda relevant to a question I was going to ask you guys, but I'll fire up another thread on that.

Anyway, Jacks Transmissions website lists evo III 5th gear at 8,000rpm doing 200.35mph. This, however, is when the 5th gear in question has been put into a DSM AWD gearbox, using a final drive of 4.929.

Seen here...

How deep are your pockets? Depends how much you wanna waste when a stock Evo III box will do it...As long as you set your engine up right with the right turbo combo you'll be fine...It's more higher hp figures that will brake stuff.
I have recently managed 129mph and that's crossing the line in 4th but only because i have a higher set redline that allows me to do it. I'm sure there is more in it with the right launch i'm sure i could manage a 10.9 as is with the stock gearbox. Maybe over time it might need a rebuild but unless you go PPG or PAR straight up with the big money you either keep rebuilding or bite the bullet.
Twin plate clutch is the only way to go for drag racing, Single plates don't tend to hold the power over time and will slip.
