This is not for my exhaust manifold or exhaust.

It's for the hot pipe (from turbo to intercooler). as it crosses over the top of the manifold. Have the stock manifold is place and would ceramic coat as a last resort.

There is a "heat bag" product which they use for power steering lines etc but only comes upto 1inch in diameter.

I need. 2-2.5" diameter or a "wrap".

The heat shield you could buy is more expensive than the exhaust wrap. If you are in it for the the bling, well.. If you are in it for the performance gains, the exhaust wrap is the go. I wrapped my aftermarket headers and my dump and wastegate pipes for $60 with the stainless steel ties..

I clearly posted I dont wish to wrap my dump/exhaust.

Its for the pipe from the turbo to intercooler (hot pipe) as its positioned straight over the manifold/turbo and im trying to keep intake temps on the low.

I've found a heat tape which you can use around your engine bay to stop the heat produced from cracking paint work, and protecting other valuable things.

no but he was saying how much it cost to wrap his headers and dump which has nothing to do with what I'm looking to achieve

how bout a good manifold heat shield instead?

or find someone who sells Mylar Heat Shield material in aust...

I dont think you will gain that much by wrapping your intercooler piping after the turbo.

The turbo generates alot of heat, from memory, my turbo GT30 produced about 170degree's C right after the turbo.

So with your turbo, not sure what it is exactly, you will be generating alot of heat also.. so by wrapping it, you will keep the exhaust heat away from it but also locking the turbo heat into the pipes. It'll probably be better to make a heatshield of some sort. But I'm guessing you already have a stock heatshield on your stock exhaust manifold?????

But if you really wanted to wrap it, I'd go with something reflective. The normal exhaust heat wrap is good for insulating heat. To keep the exhaust manifold heat away from the pipes, I'd insulate the manifold and use some sheet stainless to reflect the heat off the pipes. Or re-route your intercooler piping so it goes below the manifold.
