Ok,

I don't know the differences of either, and what they came in/from.

any help much appreciated. Helping the buildup of a 4G powered drift pig..

VR4's EVO's use the "Wideblock" and Gearbox.

Starions use the "Narrow block" and Gearbox.

Wide and Narrow just referr's to the top gearbox bolt spacing.

nope.

from what i know, the starion block is the same as a VR4, apart from the bellhousing bolts drilled differently in the block to accept the RWD gearbox.

a lot of people put VR4 internals and Heads onto a starion block.

starion is definately wide block and vr4,evo1,2, are narrow block, generally the front wheel drives are narrow block.but i dont know much about later models.
