will +40 offset fit

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

7" with +40 will fit with 215 tyres. You will need to roll your inner guard lips and do the 'ol heatgun trick on the rear bar tab that sits inside the rear wheel arch to tuck it away (do a search on 'heatgun')
If I can get a 17x7" wide rim with 40 offset and 215/40/17 under the back of a coupe, you can do it with the sedan.

Thanks guys there only 14x6 so they should fit
there are old school off a a86 i think, i'm just after some rims to fit my semi slicks on
for track work.

i tried to fit ae86 wheels on my gsr once, the centerbore was way too small, will need to machine them.

also are you use they came from a ae86? the max u can fit on a 14x6 is +35ish, couldn't fit +38 wheels. maybe its from a prelude?

I have OZ 16 x 7 +40 with 205 x 50R16s (RE-55s) on my Evo III and there was rear guard scrubbing issues. I did the usual rolling of the guards and played the ride-height and everything seems to be ok now.
The rear is still a little higher than I'd like it so I may get the mounting face shaved a little to sit them in a bit.
Hope that helps
