Guys,
Seeing as the last TNT was rained out I am thinking of heading out this Saturday night.
Usual meet point at Redbank Plains KFC. 3:00pm for a 3:30pm depart.
Any takers??

I'll be there in the EVO and my mate is bringing his EVO converted GSR but not sure if he is going to run it

Well my first run was complete shit! BAd launch and I forgot about the no lift to shift so I was stuck on the 5500rpm limiter through 1st and some of 2nd. I then realized what was happening and lifted my size 11 hoof off of the top of the clutch pedal giving me a normal redline back and some power!
Still managed a 13.01 @ 114.91 though so my mph as gone up even with the problems!

Second run wasn't as nice to the car.....
I inadvertantly activated my antilag setup and lets just say that leaving the line at around 25psi is NOT good for the rear axles :w00t:
So the hunt for a good strong diff and axles begins! No more 3bolts for me!

And here is a pic of the offending item!

I took the EVO to willowbank tonight and after doing 2 runs i decided to take it home.

I'll be honest and say that i was a little dissapointed how it went but I beleive its due to a fact of shitty tyres and suspension.

Take a look at the following and you will see I raced a 11 sec VL Turbo first which i fkd up the run completely.

Bulk wheel spin off the line the went through the gears 1st to second then to third then to fourth then i tried for fifth but i found 3rd gear. I released immediately i fkd up so i dropped it straight into neutral and coasted across the line.

Second run was against a TME Evo which I beat :) but again the time I thought was crap.

I decided to take it home after that

hey brisvr4
how do you find your "no lift to shift" i hear the are very rough on the drive train

I thought it would be as well but it isn't rough at all.
It makes shifting a lot smoother actually, feels more like an auto shifting rather than a manual and you get to keep your boost levels up too :)
