Winton "Fun Day" July 4th

Just reading on the winton raceway site, there is a fun day this weekend, it's $30 and i read that it's restricted to 80% of car and driver? how do they manage that?

has anyone been before, is anyone going? i think i am going to go for a look..

it would be nice if my car was on the road so i could take it.. but not this one..

yeah you're not really meant to push the car too hard..

boring if you ask me..

gotta go to an actually race day that times your laps etc.

hahaha go hard! everytime i go i give my car a flogging just as long as you are able to drive,dont push yourself to hard and don't endanger others i think that those guidelines are best suited to the completely inexperienced driver,for example, i was almost taken out
by some old fart in a stock vn through the esses and another ******** in a v8 vy in the same place!they were both black flagged! F#&KIN COMMODORE DRIVERS!

its not a slow drive around the track there are alot of very fast cars there and i mean FAST just drive appropriately no dukes of hazard ****.

Sounds like an unsafe and unmanaged day to me if that is how it is run, be something I would avoid.

look it is safe it generally attracts people who are car enthusiasts and can drive, or if it isnt to your liking get a cams licence and go to the sprint day on the sunday instead, ********* are quickly removed from the track.
