nice choice indeed pete, did you buy them new?

nah i didnt doug, got em second hand with about 80% tread on em about a month ago for $400.. such a bargain.

and because it was wet yesterday, i'd probably think i have about 2 track days left..

That's a great time! especially for a first time out.

What size tyre did you use, they have some unusual sizes there, the normal 205/50/15 isn't mentioned here

nah i got the 205 55 16s mate. coz my oz's are 16s.

and yeah my frist session was atrocious, did not know the lines. but 2nd and third was improving abit.

it was more of a budget track day, cheap tyre factory wheel allignment, bc coilovers, dba4000 rotors and ds2500 pads.

good fun though.

Shane (ENGINR) was there too. his car sounds like a machine.

Was a great day indeed Pete, I had a blast. Was good to catch up again.

You were pretty damn fast out there mate, I had to let you past a couple of times for fear of holding you up! I learnt to give you plenty of room, especially after when you were coming for me head on when I had my spin out in the sweeper..... You certainly had no fear of attacking some of those turns, I saw you hit the mud a couple of times - but it's a real good track to learn that sort of thing on. I had a few offs during the day but fortunately sustained no damage and was able to drive the car home afterwards .

My car ran OK. I am really annoyed that my airflow meter was tripping out due to the cold air we had at the track, I had to bypass my AVC-R and run stock 10psi boost off the wastegate . 10psi sucks when you're used to 19psi!!
