hey guys

im scraping the old loom and starting fresh, im getting a bit of noise and voltage problems...

so i've decided to rewire the entire engine..

basically the only things ill need from the engine loom are:

- water temp sensor to ecu
- water temp sensor to cluster
- tps (3 wires to ecu)
- injector wires (12v relayed / gnd to ecu)
- ignitor - wires to ecu / 12v
- ignition coil - wires to ignitor plus to ecu
- boost controller - wires to ecu (12v / gnd to ecu)
- idle control - wires to ecu (12v / gnd to ecu)
- air temp sensor to ecu
- fan (12v relay / gnd to ecu)
- fuel pump (12v relay / gnd to ecu)
- CAS (wires to ecu)

what else is in the engine loom?
- wiper motor wire
- p/s fluid plug
- washer spray wire

I'm just trying to see what i will need to rewire when chopping / removing the old loom..

also, the tacho wire, is that just a single wire from the coil going to the tacho itself? what type of signal is it? 0 - 12v?...

lastly, if i were to remove the old loom, will i still need the MPI?? (the big ass relay that turns everything on?.. from what i see, it only activates the fuel pump / ignition system and not sure what else.. does it provide power to the injetors also? what else??)

im planning to dedicate individual relays to the injectors and wire the coils directly to the battery.. i've been told the injectors could be wired directly to the battery also..

any help appreciated
