The engine and auto gearbox has gone into the (previously manual) Nimbus from the RVR Hypergear, but the mechanic doesn't want to touch the wiring side of things.
If anyone in the Penrith area has the skills required and wants to make some bucks, drop me a line. I'd like to get this bugger finished before Christmas :)

Cheers

Why didnt you just transfer all the engine bay and electrical wiring looms over from the donor RVR?
Swap it out, easy as pie. The only thing then you need to do is wire in the original RVR side sliding door interior light switch to operate when either Nimbus rear door is open.
I would have kept all the RVR engine bay and interior looms, RVR dash, engine and electrics, then transferred it all over into the Nimbus = no headache and you know the RVR package all works together.
Dont make it more difficult for yourself :)

Rob the whole eng & tcu loom is there. It's the mech that doesn't wanna do it = No idea as a sparky.
Mech wants his $$ & it gone. I locked the auto there & could read between the lines.
Cheers !

You dont need to be a sparky to do it - you just have to feed the loom thorugh and plug in things.
It's just like a big 3D jigsaw puzzle, only the easier and sometimes quicker :)

Thanks guys, If I was there, I would do it, unfortunately I live 4 hours away and currently don't have a car. The mech was recommended to me, but it isn't working out like I'd hoped.
If anyone in Sydney would like to take some of my money to do the wiring, I'm all for it!

Or if someone could recommend a sparky that could do it, or perhaps a mechanic that could take over the project.
I'm getting a bad feeling about how it is going, I may be better cutting my losses and taking the whole thing to someone else. If anyone can recommend anyone, I'd be most appreciative.

Still looking...
If someone would like the job, I'd like to pay you to do it! My missus is having the baby soon, and we are struck without a car... I'm not too popular :)

Cheers

Meek Automotive have been fixing it up, I don't know what the standard Nimbus engine is, it didn't have an engine in it when I bought it.
