{not really post worthy but anyhow}

After having them sit in a cupboard for too long I finally got off my ass and fitted Evo twin pot calipers + goodridge braided hoses to my GSR today. Was so easy and looks like it came that way from the factory. Didn't have to cut dust shields or anything.

Using EBC greenstuffs (lots of people said they're a good fast-street pad) and freshly machined rotors. The goodridge lines fit perfect. They match up to the factory clips etc.

Only set-back was I had to go to Auto One (2 min drive) and buy a 10mm pipe-spanner thingy to undo a brake line.

Such an easy job I gave my self an uppercut for not doing it earlier.

Edit: Removed Goodridge brake lines because of ADR non-compliance. Back to stock lines. Oh well...damn ADR's lol

I only did some light braking today.
I'll see how they go after they're nice and bedded.
Then I'll have to go for a 'spirited' drive to Kangaroo Valley.

F*ck me I put everything next to the GSR stuff and it's huge.

Ha Ha...good job!

I have mine sitting here ready for a rebuild and paint!
I'm totally painting mine red! Got the paint and everything!
Only difference is ive got RDA slotted rotors ;)
Where did you get the lines from and do they pass ADR's?

Twin spot with new rebuild seal kit with slotted rotors and semi race/road pads mated to braided lines good 4 dot fluid FTW

First post updated: re goodridges = no ADR (unless you buy the Aussie manufactured ones, not the ones from Ebay) so I've put the stock lines back on. Don't won't the hassle of non ADR. {at least it only took 10 mins to change them back and bleed the system}

Got them from CraigGSR with new seal kit fitted and painted red.

I'm just running EBC greenstuffs which should be fine on a non tracked car. Eventually I'll get some ADR approved lines (Brakequip or Russell) made up. Using Nulon Extreme Performance super Dot 4 brake fluid which hopefully aint too crap lol.

And I had to do a quick stop at a roundabout this morning. Felt great - nearly gave me whiplash. lol.

The twin pots with the EVO master cylinder/booster are sweet!
I've got an Aussie delivered GSR and I was assuming the Evo/AUS gsr brake master cylinders are the same size = 1 inch.
(there's a '1' stamped into the metal).
Brakes feel great and are easy modulate etc anyhoo.

I'm thinking of sticking the twin pots on my GSR as well, so let me get this straight. All I need to do is take off the existing GSR calipers and mount twin pot Evo calipers. Is it that simple? Richard was telling me Evo discs are required otherwise the pads will wear unevenly.

You need:
Discs listed for VR4/Evo 1-3. (get them machined if second hand).
Brake pads listed for VR4/Evo 1-3 (ie EBC greenstuffs or Elig 2021's).

It's a piss easy job. Have someone handy to help bleed the brakes with new fluid. What I like is that it feels just like normal when your driving (not grabby, easy to modulate the brakes etc) but when you put your foot down they clamp damn hard.

oh and they look serious behind your wheels too lol

Gotta have over 15" wheels don't forget!

The mitsi logo, did you just make up a template and spray over with white caliper paint? Good idea.

Id be interested to see what il looks lik after they are all dirty? look good or tacky?

When i painted my fronts red i condisered painting them black, but the red's grown on me.
